The Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is an integrated planning and monitoring document relating to the extension of Cemex's Mt Shamrock quarry operations. The EMP forms an integral part of the Cemex overarching SHE standards and has been approved by all the relevant authorities. It aims to provide Mt. Shamrock quarry with guidance on operational, environmental, cultural, rehabilitation and monitoring management for the remainder of the sites life.
Part of the role of the ERC is to review the environmental performance of the quarry against the requirements outlined in the EMP.
To facilitate ease of reading, the EMP document is presented here as one main document followed by the accompanying appendices.
